     Important Information for all Parishioners

Today, Friday 31st July 2020, I have received new guidance from the Director of Health and Care for Staffordshire.  Places of worship in Shobnall, Anglesey, Horninglow and Eton Park have received additional, enhanced guidance on Covid 19 following an increase in the number of cases in these areas.

In light of this guidance, and in consideration of the risk to members of the congregation and clergy, I have taken the decision to close St John the Divine, Horninglow for public worship and private prayer at this time.   I have spoken to Neville and he is in agreement with this decision.  The Associate Archdeacon is aware of the decision and he is closing St Pauls and St Aidans at the present time for the same reason.  The decision to close St John the Divine will be reviewed by Fr Michael on Thursday 6th August.

This decision is not taken lightly and it is hoped to resume services in church shortly but please note there will be NO SERVICE ON WEDNESDAY 5TH AUGUST and church will be closed.  Please be aware that Sunday services will continue to be broadcast live at 10am at
